Come along to discover the innovative VEDECOM mobility solutions at the Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit

Following its first time as exhibitor in 2018, the VEDECOM Institute is returning for the 4th Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit that will take place on 16th and 17th October 2019 at Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris. This year, the Institute for Energy Transition will have its stand in the “Shared Mobility” area, focusing on sustainable mobility and putting forward three offers to help industrial and private decision-makers set up the best adapted innovative mobility solutions.

The Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit: building bridges between innovative companies and decision-makers

Since 2015, the Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit, held annually in October in Paris, has attracted almost 8,000 professional visitors from around the world to meet participants and exhibitors seeking answers to mobility challenges. The event is organised around 6 sector-based themes: active mobility, electrification, autonomous vehicles, shared mobility, data and connectivity, and corporate mobility. The aim is to support the transition towards intelligent and sustainable mobility by building bridges between innovative companies that create mobility solutions adapted to contemporary challenges and those institutional and private decision-makers who have the ability to put these solutions in place. Over 40 conference speakers and 250 exhibitors from around the world, a 14,000 m² exhibition space and two test tracks, a programme of pitches for investors and regions and a platform for business meetings and networking, will be on offer for the visitors.

Mobilitips, Entropy and M’OBS: three offers supporting the implementation of new mobility solutions

At the heart of the “Shared Mobility” space, VEDECOM will present three offers designed to facilitate the implementation of new mobility solutions. With its new digital educational module on new Mobilitips mobilities, the Institute’s Training Programme offers an interactive glossary helping to explain often poorly identified concepts that arise from new mobility solutions. Quizzes and exhibition capsules as well as theme-based talks help to give the best idea of the projects and the environment relating to the emergence of new mobility services, supporting technological transformation and the change of mindset amongst those involved in the industry.

The first start-up emerging from the VEDECOM Institute, Entropy, offers expert knowledge in mobility for individuals, aimed at mobility managers. The proposed solution consists in a decision-assistance tool that helps to show and analyse network usage and user mobility needs. It optimises the positioning and sizing of transport offers to meet the real needs of those travelling.

Finally, VEDECOM Tech, the VEDECOM business subsidiary assessing new mobility solutions, will present the VEDECOM Tech M’OBS solution. M’OBS helps those involved in mobility to improve understanding of their environment, assess the suitability with the regions and deliver the best experience for users.
